Kay Rodriguez recently retired after a 30-year career in public relations administration at the University of Washington.  For 20 of those years she was the PR director of the university's school of medicine and other health sciences colleges.  After leaving the University of Washington, she started a corporate tour business, Totally Seattle Tours, with Microsoft, Boeing and Amazon as its main clients.  Kay was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala.  She started her professional career as a newspaper reporter and radio producer.  Kay and her husband Ed have a blended family of 3 children and 3 grandchildren, with more on the way.  Kay's interests include photography, architecture, hiking, biking and reading.

Osho Berman is employed by Cintas Corporation. Osho trains sales reps and develops long-term contracts with businesses. He is single and is interested in investing, entrepreneurship, and travel (he’s visited over 25 countries). He has a bachelors in marketing and masters in management. His hobbies include soccer, weight lifting, bicycling, concerts, night life, martial arts (Brazilian jiu-jitsu), and just about any sport. Nicole Comforto works with international student exchanges as a Program Advisor for Worldlink Education. She has been learning Spanish for two years, and also speaks French. She loves to travel internationally, and also enjoys playing music as a guitarist and singer. She is single and enjoys spending her free time going to concerts, dancing, cooking and eating, walking bicycling, shopping and watching movies. She looks forward to practicing Spanish, making new friends, and discovering Peru for the first time.

Elisabeth Vasquez Hein, Academic Coordinator for New Futures Sponsored by Rotary Club of Burien

Elisabeth Vasquez Hein works for New Futures, a non-profit organization based in South King County, Washington. She coordinates and teaches after-school programs for 4th – 6th grade children who live in a low-income apartment complex. The program helps children improve academically and also works closely with families to help them meet their basic needs. Elisabeth is originally form Washington State but grew up overseas in Spain and Korea. She attended the University of New Mexico and has a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies. She enjoys traveling, national parks, nature, hiking, languages, poetry, music, yoga and animals.

Amy Lange is employed by Treehouse. She coordinates a tutoring center for children K-grade 12, coordinates volunteers, evaluates tutoring programs, recruits youth and works with other agencies to provide enrichment for youth. Amy is single and her interests include hiking, running, photography, traveling and reading.
