Albert Kaufman, sponsored by the Rainier Valley club, is an employee of Acadio Corporation and is a software tester.  He is active in his local community and is an accomplished guitar player.  Albert has a special interest in the music of NE Brazil.

William Maiert, sponsored by the North Seattle club, works for the training and development department of the University of Washington.  Bill became interested in Brazil after doing a research project on long distance learning programs in Brazil.

Johanna Nagel, sponsored by the Maple Valley club, is a management consultant for Anderson Consulting.  Johanna is also very active in the community, having been first elected to the Tahoma school board at the age of 19.

Georgianna Page is the associate producer of an on-line women's magazine for Microsoft.  She also participates in drama and dance groups.

Two alternates were selected: Matthew Balser, a Redmond fireman sponsored by Edmonds Rotary club and Danielle Porter, a senior financial analyst for drugstore.com proposed by the University Sunrise club.
